3rd Digital China Summit is Open for Registration

    Currently, the new edition of the Digital China Summit is open for registration, and residents interested in the event may visit its official website for more detailed information. Moreover, its official WeChat account presents a retrospective record of the Summit’s accomplishments, and shares its digital achievements.

    According to available information, the 2nd Digital China Summit held last year had 11 ministerial-level agencies release their reports and policies, ten delegations led by sub-provincial-level officials from provinces and municipalities attend the event, and companies from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government exhibit the event. In addition, guest from 19 countries along the Belt and Road were present.

    The 2nd Digital China Summit & Exhibition attracted a total of 493 established domestic and international digital hi-tech companies, and delivered 255 launch events for new products and technologies. In particular, the ratio of new products and technologies that made debut exceeded 50%. 

    Frequent showcasing of the most advanced technologies on the site appealed to a lot of local visitors. There were abundant coverage highlights from domestic and international press. Specifically, the event received a total of more than 720,000 pieces of coverage (including 110 pieces of feature coverage by central and provincial media outlets), and attracted 525 reporters from 132 domestic and international media outlets. The Weibo topic reached 340 million views with 140,000 items of comments, making a total of 3 billion impressions.

    It’s worth noticing that according to incomplete statistics, the total number of visitors to the 2nd Digital China Summit exceeded 240,000. In terms of projects, the event managed to matchmake 587 digital economy projects with a total investment of RMB 450 billion.
